Clarksville, Md, dentist Rashmi Parmar, DMD, of Sleep Better Maryland recently became an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) Diplomate. Earning Diplomate status from the ABDSM recognizes special competency in dental sleep medicine.

Parmar says she sought Diplomate status “to be the best in the field that I serve, to distinguish myself with credentials recognized in the field that enable me to serve more people alongside my medical colleagues.”

Parmar says she would “absolutely” recommend becoming a Diplomate to other dentists. The designation “immediately earned respect and trust from medical colleagues and patients to provide care,” she says.
